Inactivating Resource (MSPS2003)

I want to inactivate resources who are no longer with the organization. Is
there anything beyond what is listed below that I need to do?

* Change any work remaining on projects to zero (0)
* IKn the "Build Team From Enterprise" scfreen - Set the Booking Value for
the Resource to Proposed

Anything else?

Hi Randy,

As admin, what I do is inactivate the resource in PWA on the admin page.
Then Project Pro 2003 alerts each PM who planned work for that resource that
there is work pending for an inactive resource whenever a project containing
that resource is opened. Does this meet your needs?

That sort of answers my question... Do you change the booking value for the
resource too?

Hi Randy,

As a PM, I usually don't bother changing the booking value from committed to
proposed. As a PM, the main thing I concentrate on is zeroing out any
remaining hours for an inactive resource.
