Inactive hyperlinks in Read messages

Hi,

I have an Outlook 98 user who can no longer activate hyperlinks from within
her read messages. She gets the hand indicating that it recognizes it as a
link, but nothing happens when she clicks on it. If she chooses Edit
Message, and then changes the format from HTML to Plain Text, the hyperlink
works! Anyone have any idea what might be going on here?
