I continue to receive degrading e:mails ... following many
attempts to unsubscribe. What to do?

Hi Saundra.

While I do empathize with your situation (I think we all get junk e-mail
from time to time), this NG is dedicated to security issues with Microsoft
Access. Most people posting in this newsgroup are curious about
establishing security on a Microsoft Access database.

So, I would recommend that you post to a more appropriate NG. And, that you
consider reviewing the different anti-spam software/options available.

Sincerely,

I think it is quite hard to unsubscribe from such "mailing
lists". Their "remove me" command simply don't work, and
some people even say it acts as a "confirm" button because
when you click on it, it proves you're reading the spam.

Actually one of the best ways to avoid them is using junk
mail filters like the one provided by hotmail. It will
still let some junk go in your inbox, but for me it
filters about 70% which is not bad!

In general I think you should use separate email adress:
One for people, and another for companies, which will
already sort out junk and the rest.
