Inbound Outlook 2000 delays since SP2

Anyone else having problems since sp2 with mail not being
delivered in Outlook 2000? Messages sent to AllUsers for
example will have been delivered to all other machines but
on mt sp2 test machine I will sometimes find that mail is
delayed until I restart Outlook, then miraculously all
mail will appear, very annoying. I no longer know if I
have mail and have to keep closing and opening Outlook to
find out!
I found an article about outbound mail issues relating to
RPC and MS suggest clicking on another mail folder
effectively to provoke an RPC call to Exchange box to send
mail, perhaps this is related?

Hint: The built-in firewall is on by default and will interfere with the
UDP packet that is sent from the Exchange server to the client. If Outlook
never receives this packet, it doesn't know to refresh itself. New items
wont show until the user switches folders or restart Outlook.

As an option, apply SP3 to Microsoft Office/Outlook 2000 and apply a
registry key that can force Outlook 2000 to poll the server rather than wait
for that UDP event if disabling the built-in firewall is not an option.

Thanks for that. Disabled firewall as soon as sp2 was
installed (we have a firewall applicance) and already had
office sp3, however the second of the 2 reg keys mentioned
in the article (the one under Policy) was not there so
have added that and will see if that makes any difference.
Cheers.
