When new email arrives the user is not notified. There is
no envelope that pops up on the systray (that does show up
with each new email, also the folder list does not show in
paranthesis that new email has arrived. The only way that
the user knows that there is new email is viewing another
email or clicking on another folder and then clicking back
on the Inbox (kinda like a refresh).
I have checked the properties on the exchange server. I
have blown profile away and recreated one. I have updated
all the SP and security patches for Office. I have
uninstalled/re-installed Office. The only thing I can
possibly think of is maybe that TCP/IP needed to be
uninstalled and re-installed.
