Inbox don't reflect the new email in outlook 2007

My new emails are not reflected in the inbox but are reflected in the inbox'
number. For example, appears INBOX (2) that means that I've 2 messages. I
need to go to another folder and then back to my inbox to find the messages.
Any clue?

I have exactly the same problem. Following a Send/Receive received
emails are not displayed but the Inbox counter will show emails have
been received.

If I view a different folder i.e. Deleted Items and then return to the
Inbox, the received emails are then displayed!
