Inbox empty but is still BOLD showing 1 unread message

A user has an empty inbox but the Inbox is still BOLD and shows one unread
message - Inbox (1).

Current View is "Messages".

The same is true in OWA.

Check for a Read Receipt.

What version of Outlook are you using? Are you sure there aren't any
filters applied?
