Inbox going automatically to Unread

I am having problems with my new mail being automatically
sent to my "Unread" folder versus going into my "Inbox"
Don't know what has triggered this as it hasn't always
been this way. Any help would be appreciated.

If you mean the "Unread Mail" folder under "Search Folders", "Unread Mail"
isn't a true folder, in the sense that Inbox is. Unread Mail is just a
search view of your folders. You'll see an "In Folder" column following the
Size column that tells you in what folder the message can actually be found.

If you don't see a message in your Inbox that appears in your Unread Mail
folder, see what folder it is in and you may get a handle on why it doesn't
appear where you think it should. One reason is that a person may have
changed the default view in the Inbox or is accidentally sorting by the
wrong column.
