Inbox mail disapearing

K

Kathy

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 on a Windows 2000 box. This is the
second time I have open my application and all my email in
my inbox is done. I have looked everyway to see if there
is a setting or maybe the view to get it back, but I can
not find anything. Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks, Kathy

Does the size of the folders indicate that there is still mail in it?
Right click Outlook Today-> Properties-> button Folder Size...

Then somehow you've created a new pst-file. You can search your harddisk for
additional pst-files and then connect to it by File-> Open-> Outlook Data
File...
Also check your quarantine folder of your virusscanner and see if it's
located there.

This is very strange, nothing in my *.pst files or my
quarantine file.

I can't tell you what caused the deletion. All I can say is that you should
make frequent backups of your pst-file and then you might find out what
causes the deletion.
