Including all emails for a Contact in a Distribution List

If you select a Contact when creating a Distribution List (DL), do the emails
sent to the Contact via that DL go to all the email addresses listed for that
Contact.

For example: Mary Joe has two emails listed (email 1 and email 2). If I
add Mary Joe to my DL, will the subsequent emails sent via the DL go to both
email 1 and email 2?
