Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Email Client: Exchange Hi,
I had a data base corruption when using entourage, and I was able to rebuild the data base. I opened entourage and switched my identity to the rebuilt "Main Identity" data base, but now all my incoming email is coming in as folders. The folders are being displayed as .eml.
1 Is there a way that i can convert these back to files so that I can read the email?
2 How do I stop the mails from being converted to folders?
3 This is the second time that I have had entourage crash and have to rebuild the data base, is this normal?
Thanks
John

Hi John, sorry the delay.

Just to confirm: you are seeing your incoming e-mails as folders in your folder list?

Do you remember if there was a particular occurrence that might have caused the database corruption (power outage, etc.)?

What is the size of your identity? You can check the size of the folder in your Microsoft User Data folder.

but now all my incoming email is coming in as folders.

If you are willing to share the database with the Microsoft developers, you
can contact me off list with your info and I will have someone contact you.
You can also call Microsoft support and tell them you have a known issue and
get a case number. Someone from Prasanna team will contact you.

Send me an email: (e-mail address removed)
