Incoming HTML not interpreted correctly

T

We have a problem with incoming HTML email. Sometimes it
comes through fine, and other times there will be a bunch
of html programming tags at the top of the email. Also,
sometimes hyperlinks are not formatted properly; i.e.,
even though they are sent correctly to us, when we
receive them an extra character has been added or
replaced. And one more thing--sometimes when we go to
print or forward an HTML email, some of the text
disappears or changes colors. For example, today an
email that was sent to a user displays perfectly on her
screen, but when she forwarded it to me, text was
missing. The same thing happened when it was printed
(tried printing it to multiple printers--same thing).
When she forwarded to me in plain test, everything is
fine. So somewhere the HTML is being misinterpreted.

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Tara
