Click File>E-mail Accounts>Next. What does the "Deliver new e-mail to the
following location" drop-down at the lower left say?

I should have mentioned that I'm using XP and Mozilla Firefox. Haven't used
IE for a long time. Anyway, my email software is Outlook, 2003.
What do you think? Do you think I'll have to work under IE?
Thanks again...jb

Thanks for the comeback, Brian. My "File" menu does not contain
"Email Accounts" but "Tools" does. Under "email Accounts" there
there is no "next" or "deliver new Email to" just a dialog panel to

Oops. Typo. I meant Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next.

I don't think your browser has anything to do with it.

all I get is the Wizard which gives 2 options: under "email" (to add new
email accounts to change existing ones -- or --under "Directory" to add new
directory or change existing one.)
BTW I re-did all my "rules", and I don't think any of them are impacting my
problem.
Found under "email accounts" a box to "deliver new email to the following
location: which then gave me these options: "personal folders" or "archive
folders." I checked "Personal folders" but it didn't give me a choice of
"Inbox" folder.
So I still have all my incoming mail coming to an odd personal folder -- but
not "Inbox." Any ideas, Brian? Thanks! jb

Sounds like you haven't created an account yet, then. What if you approach
it through the Mail applet in Control Panel? Start that applet and then
click E-mail Accounts. What do you see?

"Deliver new e-mail to the following location" specifies the Personal
Folders file into the Inbox of which Outlook will deliver mail. So, what
you see means Outlook will deliver mail into the Inbox found in "Personal
Folders". Since you have no choices other than "Personal Folders" and
"Archive Folders", then "Personal Folders" is where your SHOULD be having
mail sent. It will be in the Inbox of those folders.
