Incoming messages all sent to junk mail folder

Hello

Since installing Apple security update last week, Entourage is now sending
virtually all my incoming messages to the junk mail folder. This includes
messages from senders already in my address book, also, messages from
senders who have communicated with me in the recent past. When I click on
the ³not junk-mail² icon, I have the option of adding names to my address
book, identifying messages from that domain as ³not junk², etc., but, even
if I take those steps, subsequent messages from the same senders are still
sent to the junk-mail folder.

I have spoken with Apple technical support and performed various tests of my
system as well as of my internet provider¹s e-mail function, and all is in
order in those places. It therefore seems that there is some technical
problem contained within Entourage that conflicts with the Apple system that
it was designed to work with.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any recommendations on how to deal with
it?

Thanks.

You must have a rule that is moving the message. The most likely culprit is
the Mailing List Manager (MLM). It's very easy to set up a MLM rule by
accident, when you are marking a message as 'not junk'. The wording of that
dialog is ambiguous to say the least. Check if there is an MLM entry (look
for MLM entries under the tools menu) with the Junk folder as the target
folder. Mailing List Manager rules run before your other rules.
