incoming received date is none

Just recently, one of my users reported that all of her incoming
emails report a received date of 'none'. The user in question is
running Windows XP with Office 2003 and up to date on all critical and
optional microsoft updates. She is using the IMAP protocol and
nothing has changed on the server. I have searched endlessly for a
resolution to this problem and have found nothing. I saw a post in
the general group detailing the same problem but with no responses.
Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, has anyone fixed it? I am
open to any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot.

I know this is an old old topic but I've recently had the same issue with Outlook 2003 accessing Gmail via IMAP.

I have O2k3 on my laptop and O2k7 on my desktop. The desktop computer works fine, it shows all the dates of the mail in all the folders. O2k3 only shows "None" as the date unless I click on the email and it downloads the message, then it shows the proper date.

I got it to show the dates again by selecting the "Hide Messages Marked for Deletion" view (View --> Arrange By --> Current View) rather than IMAP Folder. I had to do this for each sub folder but now it's showing the dates again.

I don't know what happened to start it showing "None" for all the dates because it used to work. At least it's working now.

Hope it helps anyone with the same issue.
