Incomplete Installation ID

When I try to reactivate Office XP I am told my Installation ID is
incomplete. It is seven groups of numbers, and the last group has only three
numbers. I reactivated over the telephone (with the same set of numbers) in
July with little problem, but now I am told it is a technical issue. Could
someone please offer me some advice?

My Product Key for Office XP is in five groups of five digits like so:
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
This is the one used for activation. It's located on an orange sticker
on the CD case.

Once it is installed, you can see the Product ID by going into
Help>About. For Office 2003 (I don't have XP installed anymore) it is
in four groups of 5-3-7-5 digits like so:
nnnnn-nnn-nnnnnnn-nnnnn

This is a US-English edition. Possibly other nationalizations have
different key format, but I don't think so.
