Inconsistent message delivery/reply with telus and entourage

Nichole Murray

I am using Mac OSX version 10.4.11 and entourage version 11.4.0 Receive
server is POP and outgoing SMTP

The Problem - When I send email only some of the intended recipients is
receiving the email. Of those who receive the email and try to reply, I only
receive some of the replies.

Through Telus I have 2 aliases from a main email. I have had both of those
aliases set up as separate accounts which I think may be some of the
problem. I have spent over 4 hrs on the phone with telus trying to
troubleshoot and they say the problem is with entourage. Here are the
results from some of the tests:

3 emails were sent. #1 from telus webmail, #2 from entourage alias 1, #3
from entourage alias 2
-All 3 were received by the telus tech
-All 3 received auto replies from Telus into the webmail account and all 3
ended up in entourage when I opened it up later on.
-Only 2 received personal replies from the tech. The one that did not
receive a response was the one account that I have been sending from ain
entourage and is the account that is highlighted in the accounts view.

Yesterday I sent emails from entourage (default email was the alias that did
not work in the above test) None of those emails were received by the
intended recipients that I have followed up with by phone.

If someone directly sends and email to either alias, it seems to arrive just
fine. The problem is when they "rely to" as well as of course the fact that
when I send they don't always get there.

Telus says it is an entourage problem, Microsoft says it is a telus server
problem. I am stuck as I use these accounts for business. The second
Microsoft rep suggested I try this help site as she thinks it may be how I
have the aliases set up in the accounts.

Thank you so much for any help you are able to send my way!
