Am using WordXP on WinXP PC. If I set top margin to 0.5 inches (or reduce
any margin), it gives warning... "One or more margins are set outside the
printable area of page... FIX or IGNORE. I use 'ignore', but is annoying.
The HP 4050 laser printer can easily handle 0.5" margins. What's odd is
that It only gives the warning under these circumstances:
-------ALWAYS WARNS...if Word is started using the desktop icon or start>all
programs>Word (isn't the initial blank document same as normal.dot?)
-------NEVER WARNS....if Word is open and I first go to File>New>Blank
document, then change margins.
Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
