I currently have 2 versions of a front end that are used...an MDE by the
users, and the MDB that I use for development and convienience (rather than
switching to the other anytime any has a question). I have noticed that
lately, on certain reports, users in the MDE will receive incorrect results
on their first run. If they close the report and immediately re-run it
(using the exact same criteria) everything if fine. I, on the other hand,
receive the correct results every time I run the report.
The report is based on a saved query which, in turn, is based on 2 queries
and 3 tables. Left joins are used, however I do not use the inequality
operator (<>) with Null. Furthermore, the running sum in the report is
correct, but the item being summed is not - the running sum is based off of a
hidden value for a reportwide total.
Any ideas? If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Thanks!
