Hello

Under Task
It is showing "You have 120 new tasks assigned to you." When I click on "120
New Task" it showing 22 tasks.

Can anyone explaing me on this behaviour? It should display on "You have 22
new tasks assigned to you".

I am using project server 2007.

On the My Tasks page, click the Settings pick list button and select the
View Options item on the pick list. This action expands the View Options
pane at the top of the page. The "Display Only Current Tasks" option is
selected by default. If selected, you see only tasks that meet the
following critieria:

1. Tasks that should have started by today, but have not.
2. In-progress tasks.
3. Tasks that are scheduled to begin in the next 10 days.
4. Completed tasks within the past 10 days.

To see all of the new tasks, deselect the "Display Only Current Tasks"
option and then click the Apply button. Hope this helps.

Hello Dale

Thanks for reply. I already did this, it is showing only current tasks. My
problem is that why it is showing all tasks(120) on dashboard, it should
show only current tasks (22).

On the Home page in PWA, the number of new tasks shown is the total number
of tasks, not the number of current tasks. There is no way to change that.
Hope this helps.
