Incredmail

Does anyone know anything about Incredmail and if it works with Windows XP?
For about a year now I've been trying to get the full use of my Outlook
Express program without success. I've done everything anyone as been able to
suggest as well as follow all recommendation in the database pages. So many
people replied to my request for help in the Outlook Express newsgroup that
most eventually gave up. There was on gentelman who stayed with me for months
with us trying everything as well as uninstalling the program and
reinstalling it. Eventually I was able to get it to the point where it would
send messages but I can not receive my messages. I didn't have time to keep
devoting to that problem and still, once in a while, work on it. I'm now
tired of fighting with it. Microsoft says it's a problem with my provider and
my provider says it's a problem with the program. I give up. I need to have
an email program that will be able to do both receive and send my messages so
I have a way to get them off of the space my provider allows me.
If anyone knows if this Incredmail is a good program or knows of a good
email program please let me know. I am a big user of stationery so I would
want that capability, if possible.
Thanks. Linda

Is there a certain newsgroup I should have sent this message too? Since this
is for general quiestions I thought this would be the one to write too.
My apologies.

This is for general questions about Access rather than general questions
about anything in general!

Is it outlook express you are trying to use? What has been happening?

No apologies are necessary, as the online interface which you are obviously
using, is not all that clear -- and there are many who are misled to believe
that this "provides access" to the sponsored newsgroups. But, this
newsgroup is specifically for Microsoft Access database software, part of
Microsoft Office and the real specialists or gurus on Outlook Express would
be here only by chance. If you will continue to scroll down, you will find
newsgroups specifically for Outlook Express.

Outlook Express is a limited, free mail client covered in
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general and
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.stationery and in a few other
version-specific newsgroups. I don't know what supposedly user-friendly
names you'll find for those in the online user interface. Most of us who do
a lot of answers here do not use that interface. For example, I use, er,
"Outlook Express" for reading and responding, which you won't be able to do,
if it's not working for you.

You'll also find a wealth of Outlook Express information at
http://www.tomsterdam.com.
