Indent and Outdent Problem in MS Project 2003

I cannot use the evaluation copy of MS Project 2003 Standard I received
recently.
The indenting and outdenting of tasks does not work correctly at all for me.

I must uninstall, reinstall 2002 and await a patch for this issue to be
resolved.

Is this assumption correct ?

Does any one know it there is any other way to get the indent and outdent
functions to work prperly ?

Three ways - one is as you say, wait for the patch. Another is to use
Project 2003 Professional where it works as it should. And the third is
to delete the summary task and its children and re-enter them <frown>.
Keeping my fingers crossed the patch won't be too long coming.

Yes, you should be able to promote all the subtasks. Alas, in P2003Std it's
broke.
