Index styles

I am creating an index and you can set each section to
start with a letter (e.g. A, B, C...). however i need to
make these be -A-, -B-, -C -. I do know it can be done, I
tried to copy the style from one document to another, but
that did not work. Does anyone know where I can set this
feature up?

Hi Ruth

You need to edit the Index field so that the \h flag is \h "-A-" instead of
\h "A". (Right click and toggle the field code to see this.)
