Indexing Options - cannot modify

I am unable to change any of the Indexing Options. All the folders are greyed
out except for the "MSOCache" folder. The only folder that is checked is the
Documents and Settings folder. Each subfolder is also checked.

When I hover over a greyed out folder, I get the following message:

"Cannot change settings for "highlighted-folder", use the context menu to
modify its advanced properties and reopen this dialog".

I have five locations listed as being indexed:

Documents and Settings (folder)

Mapi

OneIndex

OneIndex

Start Menu (folder)



The OneNote being listed twice sticks out to me. The only difference in the
path of the OneIndex locations is a "\".



I'm debating whether to uninstall/re-install OneNote 2007 and Office 2007. I
just want to take precaution an avoid any data loss (.PST issues, OneNote
notebooks, etc.)



Any insight?
