Over the past 6 weeks we've had 3 occurances where the project server
has become unresponsive ( and users get various messages). When I go
to the console it is very slow but I look in task manager->processes
and see inetinfo.exe is consuming >1.5gig of ram (or so). So far I've
just rebooted the box to fix the problem. I periodically check the
mem usage of inetinfo.exe and it is always about 40meg.
The server has 2gig of ram. we are running Project Server 2003. We
automatically reboot the server every monday morning at 6am and we've
had the problem occur as early as tuesday. Currently the server only
has a few users. We hope to ramp up to 7pm's and 100+ resources in
the next couple months.
