Info on putting files in folders

Using Outlook 2003 -
Hey, I just drag-n-dropped a file from my desktop into an Outlook
folder!
Yep, there it is...neat!
So now I'm looking through all the Outlook help files about this
feature - why I'd want to do this, how does it work, etc. - and
finding diddley squat. Can someone point me to some documentation
on this, from Microsoft or otherwise?

Thanks in advance,

Chris O.

I don;t think there is any documentation. It's more or less a feature
designed for Exchange public folders.... and don't forget outlook has a 2GB
limit on the pst unless you use ol2003 and a Unicode pst.

I use it some times to keep all files associated with a project together. It
makes it handy when backing them up or storing them on cd... but they
require outlook to access.
