Infopath 2003 Merge forms issue

I am having an issue w/ merging form i have created w/ 2003.

There is a rich text field which merges data fine, however, the 3
repeating tables on the document will not. If I choose to merge them
using Sharepoint, the template opens followed by a status bar which
shows that it is merging the docs, then it just shows me the blank
templates w/ only the rich text field showing merged info. The tables
have nothing. I have noticed that if none of the fields in the
repeating table are filled out, the merge appears to work. (It shows
the correct sum of table entries that i put in the forms that i
merged)

please help!
