We are in the process of designing a InfoPath 2003 based solution which will
integrate with SharePoint and the data will be stored in a SQL Server
database.
The user can search the data stored in the database and the search results
will be shown as a list. The search and search result component will be
implemented using webparts. When the user clicks on any search result we
would like to bring up a InfoPath form populated with the details for the
selected record from the database.
I would appreciate if someone can confirm that this implementation is
possible with InfoPath 2003 before we dive deep into this as we are under a
time crunch.
