InfoPath 2007 – Compatibility check

I'm using InfoPath 2007 client and i'm trying to check the compatibility of
my form for use in a browser.
I configured compatibility settings to connect with my local server but I
received the following error message when actually performing the check:

The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:

Server was unable to process request. ---> Method 'get_Extension' in type
'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server.SolutionLifetime.XmlFormProxy' from
assembly 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server, Version=12.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' does not have an
implementation.

Any ideas ?

I'm having this same exact problem. I've been able to point to other
SharePoint installations and run the compatibility check, but every
time I try it with mine, I get the error below. It's prevented me from
doing other things, as well, like loading controls from the the
Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server assembly into the Visual Studio
toolbox. Has anyone run into this and been able to fix it? I've even
tried re-installing the Office Beta, which didn't help.
