I have a relatively simple form template that I have created using InfoPath
2007 and published to a SharePoint 2007 document library. Using IE from a
machine that has InfoPath 2007 installed I can browse to the document
library, click "New" and the form template will load in InfoPath and allow me
to submit the form fine, although I am prompted for my username and password
and if I have not configured my account in Outlook it will step me throught
that process. However, if the document library is configured to load the
form template in the browser rather than InfoPath or if I use Mozilla Firefox
to browse to the document library, the form loads in the browser fine but I
receive the following non-descript error message when I click Submit:
"An error occurred while the form was being submitted."
I have confirmed that the form is browswer-enabled using the Design Checker
in InfoPath. The submit option I have configured for the form is to simply
e-mail the active view of the form to my e-mail address. There is also
"conditional formatting" on the submit button that prevents the user from
submitting the form while a check box control has a value of "false."
The security level in "Form Options - Security and Trust" is set to
"automatically determine security level." I have tried publisihg the form
template with the security level set to "Domain" as well but with the same
results!
Could this in any way be related to the Authentication Method selected for
the site in IIS? We are currently using basic authentication.

information as possible from the beginning. I am new to InfoPath forms
