InfoPath cannot start Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applicatio

Hello,

I am trying to launch this from the Tools > Programming menu and by right
clicking controls on the form to add event handlers.

Each time I get the following message:

InfoPath cannot start Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications
InfoPath has encountered an error. The operation failed.

Any ideas how to solve this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the
Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications from the the InfoPath section
of the Office install.

I am running Windows Vista x64, Office 2007 Ultimate, and Visual Studio 2008.

Thanks

Hello,

Can you check once the below option is correct or not in your form.

Tools -> Form Options -> Programming.

In “Programming language†option you have to select either ‘VBScript’ or
“Jscriptâ€.

Hello,

If you want to implement the solution in C# then you have to be insert the
IPProject software to link the VS 2008 and InfoPath 2007. After installing
this software only we can create the C# solution.
