Ok hope I can have some help with this one.
I have an Infopath form in a form library on Sharepoint. The form is
attached to a MSDE database to store the data. The form is something that is
routed (via an email connection) to other users that once it is initally
filled out must be approved by others.
The database (MSDE) is always updated when a submit occurs with no issues as
well as the email. The problem is that the form library on Sharepoint will
not update when the users who must approve the form attempt to submit the
form.
The error I recieve is the following:
InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.
A value in the form may be used to specify the file name. If you know the
value in the form that specifies the file name, revise it and try again.
Otherwise, contact the author of the form template.
Is this error because it is attempting to save the form under the template
name I published it under? If so how do I assign a name upon submit and how
do I continue to allow the form which was inserted to be updated?
Please if it is coding post the code in vb script or provide a link if
possible as I am not that well versed in the coding needed by Infopath and
though I can translate between the two figuring out the scenarios are
difficult.
