Forms that were fine in InfoPath 2003 now take from 2-10 tries to open. We
get the message that InfoPath cannot create a new blank form. The error
details show "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by
another process."
It seems as though the first time you attempt to open an InfoPath form that
day, you have problems. If you access the form again that day, it opens
properly. It doesn't matter who created the form, or whether we are trying
to open the template or a form that was e-mailed as an attachment.
The only references I could find to this problems were programmers whose
code was causing problems. These forms have no special programming, just
basic fields.
We are running Office 2007 on Server 2003.
Does anyone have an idea of how we can fix this?
