Infopath needs a viewer component

I am a developer on a large Win32 system; ~25,000 users. We have a need for a
forms engine in our main application. Infopath seems like a perfect solution.
Users can use Infoapth to create forms, and this large Win32 application
makes the form available to be filled out and submitted. There is a problem:
Even though, most of our sites have Infopath licences, we cannot ensure it
will be installed. This means we have to use MOSS to host our forms (what is
up with that) Sharepoint is hard to use. I have spent hours with a MS expert
to create a form and host it in Sharepoint. We could not get it to work. It
seems to me, that MS needs to make a .Net Form component available. Yes,
there is one with Infopath, but unless Infopath is installed, you can;t use
it. MOSS is a pain. If someone knows when MS will release a Infopath form
filler component, please let me know. If there is another form option oput
there, please let me know.
