Norton detected a 'Malicious Script' while I was running the InfoPah SDK
Samples Setup Script.

Good to know. There certainly are a number of script files included, so it's
not surprising that Norton could mistake one of them as malicious. None of
them are malicious, however.

Thanks,

Unless of course you downloaded the SDK from some site other than MS. Than
you may want to be extra careful.

Hi Keith,

What version of Norton Antivirus do you have installed and which Setup
Script where you running?

Anti-virus applications tend to be a bit paranoid when it comes to scripts
running locally on your machine (with some good reason). Norton AV, as part
of their "Script Blocking Feature", sometimes warns users when it encounters
scripts which perform certain operations like for example calling the
filesystem object. If you downloaded the SDK Samples from Microsoft.com then
they should be Ok.
