InfoPath SharePoint-UDC Files and Web Services

We have built an InfoPath 2007 form that connects to our LOB [legacy
database] through a web service and downloads data into the form
successfully. The web service is using an IP filter and will drop any
connection that doesn't match an IP on the "approved" list, through IIS.
We have converted the existing data connections to UDCX files, uploaded the
files through the Central Admin SP [MOSS]site and the form still works. We
also have uploaded the form template using the Central Admin site and has
been approved by the admin. The problem we are having is when a user opens
the form, InfoPath opens the UDCX files and attempts to connect directly to
the Web Service. We want to have InfoPath use SharePoint as a proxy to the
Web Service. Is that something that can be done? ~JZavala
