Infopath - Update Calendar

I would like to find out the best way to enable an infopath form to update a
calendar in sharepoint portal server. The calendar can be either an Outlook
shared calendar, or a Sharepoint integrated Event/Calendar. I would also
like to report on the calendar contents. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.
