Information not update in View - Task Form!!!!!

Dear all,

I use Ms Office Project Pro 2003 connect to Project Server 2003 to
assign task, view information, ... and there a little wrong between the
information on Task Form (% complete)with information when i click:
View - Task Usage and then Format - Detail - Actual Work.

I think the information on View - Task Form is not automatically update
from the timesheet.

Please help me to solve this problem!!

Hi,

Task form shows total % duration complete for the task.

Task Usage shows one row for each assignment and Actual Work/Work= % work
complete for the assignment. So, if there are two assignments, the usage
view will always be different from the task form view.

If you enter actual hours in the Project Server Time Sheet, the timesheets
need accepting by the Project Manager before the hours show up in Project
Professional.

Exactly what information doesn't appear to match up? Please be specific and
let us know what you would expect to see.

Hi Rod Gill,

You mean that the % complete in Task Form will automatically update
base on the actual hours in Project Server Time Sheet.

Our system this value not automatically update. Please help me to do
that.

Thanhcan,

You must go through the process of accepting updates from timesheet
before it will match what you are seeing in Project Professional. I am
not sure if you already know this but it sounds like you might not be
aware of this.

After users in PWA timesheets have put in actual work and hit the
Update All button, the project manager who had published the resource
assignments must go into PWA>Updates and accept or reject the timesheet
entries. Accepting timesheet entries and hitting Update will load your
plan in Project Professional and load any new data from the users
timesheets. You must then save the project plan to commit those
changes to your project.
