I use infuzer to download itineraries into my Outlook Calendar. This works
great most of the time. Sometimes however I'll download the itinerary, it
appears in my calendar, but a short time later it disapears from the calendar.
So how do I fix that?

No - no archiving or anything. And it is not consistent. Some events
dissapear suddenly, others remain as they should.
I also have a Blackberry tied into my E-mail.

I know that the most common occurances of "disappearing" events are
related to itineraries that have been modified.

Generally the event doesn't disappear, rather it moves back to the
original date of the activity. It is not a bug in Infuzer, rather it
is an error in implementation by the content provider.

In most cases, if you simply add a word or character to the calendar
entry body and click "save changes" when you close the entry, it will
not revert to the original information.

Just to have this clear in my mind, once it's entered and showing in my
calendar I quickly modify it a bit before it disapears again?
