Initial state of navigation button

Hi all,

As a newbie to FP, HTML, and Java Script, this may not be the
appropriate forum, but here's what I
am trying to do:

I have a home page with a link to a framepage. The left frame has a nav
bar with 3 buttons, with mouseovers, one of which is "Home." When the
framepage loads, that Home button is in its selected state. I would
like it to load with one of the other buttons in selected state, because
I have defaulted another frame to load with the content called by that
button.

Can anyone help me fix this?

FP nav bars were not intended for use in Frames

The home page is probably showing the visited state
