go to the control you want to change
delete the text on the property input mask

It depends on version, but locate the file called acwzusrt.mdt on your computer - you'll find the input masks are stored in a table called im_TblInputMask

I've looked in this file and found the table, however the input mask I want
to delete isn't there (yet it is listed in the wizard). We are using Access
2007 on a terminal server and the database that the input mask was created in
was deleted, is there any other place I can delete these?
