Hello again.....
I am using the customer service database template.... which has been altered
just a little. My question is....There is a field where you can type who the
person is. If they don't show up in your listing you can add them. However,
if I begin typing a name and the person isn't there and I clear the field and
then hit the button to add the person.....the form opens for me to add, but
after I add the person I get a message that says..."you must save the current
field before you run the requery action."
I don't remember seeing this before? Is there anyway to have the system so
that when you type in the field...if the person doesn't come up, you can
remove the name and then add the correct person? currently, I have to leave
a name in the field, add a person and then remove the first person....hope
that made some sense.
