Inputting Chinese text

Hello! Hope someone could help.

I am using WINDOWS XP HOME with OFFICE2000. Do I need to download a software to input Chinese text to a WORD document? If so, how to get it.

No you do not need to download anything, and the local Word Help files (look
up "Chinese") give instructions.
