I have Office 2003 running on XL. All of a sudden I am getting the Windows
Installer every time I double click on a word or excel file. If I open the
program first, the file opens fine with no installer. This has just started
after having no problems for years. I have tried "Restore" but for some
reason I cannot restore so this is not an option. There have been no updates
installed between the time it was working ok and the time the problem
started. Has anyone experienced this?
