Insert a diagram

How do I insert a diagram into word if I don't have the
option under my insert menu? Please any help would be
great!

What sort of diagram? Is it a graphics image? What format is it in?

What version of Word? Word 2002 and 2003 have a Diagram button on the
Drawing toolbar.
