Insert a Document

I'd like to insert an existing Word document into a new
Word document and have it act like a pic file (to resize,
place a border around, etc.), without having to scan it
in.

The existing Word file has headers and footers, which
won't import with the Insert|File or Insert|Object
command.

Any suggestions?
