Insert CR/LF into a cell

How do you insert a carriage return / line feed into a cell? I have some
lines of text that I want to have a empty line between them for readability.

Hold down 2 (or more) of the <CTRL>, <OPTION> (ALT) and <CMD> (Apple) keys,
and press <RETURN> or <ENTER>

(Found by trial-&-error !)
