The movie will have to be captured to a file that PowerPoint can use -- such
as AVI, WMV, MPEG or similar. The programs that do this are sometimes
called DVD rippers. If you do a search on Google, you should be able to
turn up a few.
Keep in mind that copyright permissions must be obtained to make legal
copies, even if they are just for you to insert into PowerPoint.
