Using Word 2003 on windows XP. Selected text to insert hyperlink. Text
selected reads "Figure 26: The Template List". When I right click, and
select Hyperlink, the Insert Hyperlink popup appears.
In the Insert Hyperlink popup, the field Text To Display reads:
"47H47H300HFigure 26: The Template List". Where did the extra
characters come from?
Strangely, I can select text up to the space before the "26" and no
extra chars appear in the popup. As soon as I select "Figure 2" or
more, extra characters appear. Looks like hex characters??
Anyone have a clue why this is happening? Some formatting "feature" I
am not seeing?
Thanks
