Insert menu missing in FP2002

Frustrated

As I am fairly new to this type of thing, I hope I've done it correctly. Please excuse me if I haven't. Anyway, it might be a strange question that I'm about to ask, but the other day I was trying to add another menu item to the Insert menu at the top of the page, when I accidentally deleted it. I've tried everything I possibly can to retrieve it, but nothing seems to work. Could someone please help me with this dilemma? Thank you in advance for any possible remedies to this problem.

You could restore the default menus by finding and deleting cmdui.prf , then reopening FP
In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file hidden file CMDUI.PRF
Usually in C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage\State

Thank you for the clear and concise directions on fixing the above problem. Another problem has arisen which caused this in the first place. In the Insert menu are a lot of items that are not highlighted so I'm not able to use them unless they are. Would anyone be able to give me directions on how to solve this, as what I tried in the first place caused my first dilemma?

1. Make sure that you are always opening a web / site prior to working on
your web content and not just a page.
2. Depending on your Page Options | Compatibility settings, certain menu
options will be unavailable.
